Reincarnation is a term usually used for the belief that at death a person’s soul or self passes into a new body and will continue to do so until it reaches the ultimate goal. Hinduism, Jainism, the Druze and some proponents of the New Age movement believe in reincarnation. The Buddha denied the reality of reincarnation and taught rebirth instead.
